There are two groups of instructors, trainee and fully qualified. You can identify them by the badge in the front of their car. Trainees have a Red Triangular Badge. Fully Qualified Instructors have a Green Octagonal Badge.

Driving Skill:- Can you reverse left into a limited opening remaining reasonably close to the kerb, observing all around you?
One of the manoeuvres you could be asked to perform is reversing into a side road. It needs to be done in a controlled manner whilst ensuring observation all around you .
Syllabus element:- Junctions - You should be able to judge the correct speed of approach so that you can enter a junction safely and stop if necessary. Position your vehicle correctly. Check your left mirror for cyclists and motorcyclists and before moving to the left check for pedestrians.
